The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. There was something for everyone. There’s a playroom for children. It’s a short walk to the chairlift. The wellness area is also excellent. All in all, a fantastic experience. Thanks to the entire staff and the manager.

We spent a few days with our grandchildren at the Hotel Schröckerhof again and had a wonderful time. A heartfelt thank you to the owners and the entire staff. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The wellness area is small but lovely. Snacks and drinks are available, and there are plenty of towels. We’d love to come back.

Great hotel! We travel a lot and stay at many hotels, but we were truly impressed here once again! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic! The rooms were great, with plenty of space to store our ski gear. The bathroom and toilet were separate—everything was spotless! The breakfast was amazing!!!! A three-course dinner menu! Everything was excellent. And the desserts were fantastic, too.

The manager is an extremely nice woman and greeted us personally at dinner. I would also like to give a special mention to Ms. Karin at reception—she was very kind to us and always smiled, which we found very pleasant. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The view from my room was simply fantastic. The sauna was amazing. The kitchen staff and all the other staff were also very friendly and attentive. We can definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back.

We have been to Schröckerhof many times and always enjoy coming back! The location, amenities and cuisine are ideal for us. Most rooms are spacious and very clean, with mostly great views. The thorough room cleaning deserves special praise. Delicious breakfast in the morning and a large selection from the starter buffet, soup, choice of main course, dessert and cheese buffet in the evening. The horse riding facilities for children are excellent, and the animals on the farm are a treat for young and old alike.

Family-run hotel in a great location. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was cosy, clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was extensive and had something for everyone. Dinner was a delicious 4-course menu with a choice of dishes. A big plus point is that there are plenty of parking spaces, most of which are covered and free of charge! The hotel's own swimming pond, just a short walk away, is also highly recommended for swimming and relaxing. All in all, there is nothing to complain about 👍. For families with children, there is a small farm with horse riding facilities and a petting zoo. We can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience.

After more than 11 hours fighting traffic jams, we arrived at the hotel pretty much exhausted and a bit irritable. The wonderfully warm and friendly welcome from Carina made us forget that in no time. We instantly felt at home. The hotel itself is simply – how do they say it these days – mega. Everything is just right: location, service, food, rooms… all fantastic. We felt so comfortable here, and we will most definitely be coming back...

Rooms, atmosphere, staff, half board – we simply feel very comfortable and well taken care of here. Being able to reach the slopes from the hotel in 5 minutes without a car, and to ski practically right back to the house in the evening, is wonderful. The slopes are in excellent condition, and thanks to the many lifts, skiers are nicely spread out even on perfect sunny days. Our highest praise to the hosts and those responsible – thank you!

The hotel is fantastic (rooms, wellness, etc.), and all the staff are friendly and attentive – no wish is unmet. The breakfast buffet, evening menu, and drink selection are all extremely generous. The location is, of course, breathtaking, with an open view of the Dachstein, and the ski lift about 400 meters away… perfect. In good conditions, you can ski right back to the hotel – where else can you still find that?! We spent a wonderful week at the Schröckerhof and will definitely be back! Many thanks for everything!!

Once again, we were completely satisfied with EVERY aspect of the ***(*) hotel. We considered the three-minute walk up to the ski slope a good warm-up before the day’s skiing. Warm regards to the Schröckerhof team.

This is a very friendly and accommodating hotel in a beautiful mountainside location. Starting with the room – we had the family room for two, with a balcony, a small sitting area, and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet was very varied, offering a bit of everything, along with a selection of hot drinks, various juices, and sparkling wine. Every morning, the friendly server asked if we’d like eggs, which were then freshly prepared to our liking. The evening menu was varied and plentiful, with a salad buffet, soup, main course, dessert, and cheese buffet. The drinks selection was also excellent, with a daily wine recommendations, aperitifs, schnapps, and more.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location with excellent cuisine and outstanding service. In addition to the swimming pond, the children especially enjoyed the chance to go riding with the lovely riding instructor. We were very satisfied and will be happy to return.

Great location with views of the Dachstein. Everything is top-notch. We often stay at the hotel twice a year and feel right at home. Beautiful wellness area and, just above the hotel, a beautifully designed natural pool.

The natural swimming pond is also beautifully designed and perfect for a swim.

We felt completely at home thanks to the relaxed brand of friendliness here – from the reception to the entire staff and, not least, the owners. Another plus compared to big hotels is that even when they are fully booked, there are only around 40 guests. In short: a clear recommendation, and we’ll definitely be back!

I found the hotel on Google and booked it because of the positive reviews and its location - and I wasn’t disappointed. Even the very first phone call, when I unfortunately had to postpone my booking by one night, confirmed that I had chosen the right place. Everything was handled very smoothly. When we finally arrived, we were given a very warm welcome. The staff are consistently friendly, and you can tell it’s a family-run hotel. The rooms are bright, welcoming, and very clean. The wellness area is also clean and provides everything you need to relax after a hike. Outside, there’s a natural swimming pond, which is well maintained and available during posted opening hours.
Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and more than plentiful.

We spent a week at the Schröckerhof at the end of May/beginning of June 2023, and it was a wonderful, carefree stay. The service staff – and especially the owner – were always friendly, attentive, and dedicated to the well-being of their guests. We felt completely at home. The food was excellent. 👌 The hotel enjoys a dream location with views of the Dachstein, which you can also admire from the swimming pond. Our children had a great time with the animals, especially during their afternoon riding sessions. We had a family room with a view of the Dachstein. The room was modern, spacious, and even had a small dining area. We especially appreciated the many small, thoughtful details – such as the children’s bathrobes in the room especially for our kids. You can truly sense that children are genuinely welcome at this hotel.

A very beautiful, family-run hotel that leaves hardly anything to be desired. A major plus is its direct access to the ski slope. Cozy wellness area with three “saunas.” Excellent and varied selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices.

From the reception to the restaurant, every member of the hotel’s wonderful team goes out of their way to take care of each guest. The new swimming biotope is worthy of note, truly one of a kind. I recommend the hotel to everyone.

Magnificent panoramic views. The food impresses with its wide variety and excellent flavor. The warm and friendly welcome at the reception is truly exceptional. For children, there’s a playground, a swimming pond, and plenty of animals to keep them entertained.

This is a family-run hotel in an absolutely dream location on the mountain. It’s run with great care and attention, which was clear right from check-in (we were welcomed by the owner in person). The restaurant is excellent as well (an outstanding breakfast and a five-course dinner), as is the daily room cleaning. We stayed here with our two small children, who felt completely at home and didn’t want to leave. There’s so much to discover on the grounds, and the hotel puts a lot of thought into catering to the needs of youngsters – for example, with a kids’ buffet and playroom just for them. We’ll definitely be back!

An excellent hotel with friendly owners and staff! Special requests for meals were no problem at all! The kitchen deserves extra praise – we’ve rarely eaten so well! The rooms were clean and had everything you could wish for.

Simply wonderful. Everything is just right. You can’t help but feel completely at ease, with every wish anticipated before you even ask. It’s fantastic to stay right by the piste – step into your skis in the morning and head straight out, then ski right back to the ski depot in the basement in the evening. You can leave your car in the garage for the whole stay without giving it a second thought. Absolutely magical. Thanks to everyone.
