All log files are rotated daily, the logs from the previous day are archived and are then available for the specified retention time. However, these are purely internal log files to which we as the customer have no access. This data is not merged with personal data sources.

YouTube

The plug-in we use from Google is based on a 2-click system. When you open a website, only a placeholder is loaded for YouTube videos and no actual connection is made automatically to YouTube itself. This connection is only initiated when you click on the appropriate button to view the video. In order to enable you to view the video, the website uses a plug-in from the Google-owned service YouTube. The operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

If you are also logged into your YouTube account while visiting our website, whenever you play a video you also allow YouTube to associate your surfing behaviors with your personal profile. However, you can prevent this from happening by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When you view the video, a connection is made to the servers of YouTube. This simultaneously informs the YouTube server which of our pages you are visiting and have already visited.

Further information about how user data is used as well as the data privacy policy can be found on the pertinent webpages of Google.

OpenStreetMap

We integrate the maps of the work “OpenStreetMap” https://www.openstreetmap.org, which are offered on the basis of the Open Data Commons Open Database license (ODbL) by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF). Data protection declaration of the OSMF.

As far as we know, the data of the users are used by OpenStreetMap exclusively for the purpose of displaying the map functions and temporarily storing the selected settings. This data may include, in particular, IP addresses and location data of the users, which, however, are not collected without their consent (usually carried out as part of the settings of their mobile devices).

Google Tag Manager

The Google Tag Manager is a system that controls which and when tags (scripts) are executed on the website.

This can be e.g. Google Analytics, which the Google Tag Manager can use to generate statistics on user behavior on the website. The Google Tag Manager works with tags and triggers.

Tags are pieces of code, such as HTML or JavaScript, that are used on the website for analysis or marketing purposes. This can be a social media plugin, a tracking pixel or something similar. Such tags and scripts can set cookies to collect data.

However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data and does not set any cookies itself. If cookies have been deactivated via the data protection settings, this also applies to those cookies that were implemented via tags with the Google Tag Manager.

Facebook Pixel

To measure our conversion rates, our website uses the visitor activity pixel of Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). This tool allows the tracking of page visitors after they have been linked to the website of the provider after clicking on a Facebook ad. This makes it possible to analyse the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising campaigns.

For us as the operators of this website, the collected data is anonymous. We are not in a position to arrive at any conclusions as to the identity of users. However, Facebook archives the information and processes it, so that it is possible to make a connection to the respective user profile and Facebook is in a position to use the data for its own promotional purposes in compliance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This enables Facebook to display ads on Facebook pages as well as in locations outside of Facebook. We as the operator of this website have no control over the use of such data.

The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in effective advertising campaigns, which also include social media. In Facebook’s Data Privacy Policies, you will find additional information about the protection of your privacy at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You also have the option to deactivate the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” in the ad settings section under
https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you first have to log into Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate any userbased advertising by Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance:
http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Social Media - Buttons

The social media buttons provided on our website for Facebook and Twitter are “share” buttons or hyperlinks to the respective social media channel. They do not create an automatic connection to the various platforms, which distinguishes them from “like” buttons, which are not used on this website.

Modules for online booking and online inquiries

The online booking and inquiry modules used by us on this website make it easier for you and us to agree and manage room bookings and inquiries. For this purpose we use “Weratech”, which is provided by Gastrodat.
