General Terms & Conditions governing Gift Certificate Orders and Revocation Rights

The contract is entered into with Hotel Schröckerhof GmbH.
Only persons ages 18 and older are entitled to order a gift certificate.

The purchased and/or ordered gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. Should the holder avail himself of services lesser in value than that of the actual gift certificate, the holder shall receive a corresponding note of credit from the hotel.
Invoicing including provision of taxation information can only be provided at the time the actual services are provided, in other words, at the time the gift certificate is actually redeemed (Sales Tax Act - UstG).
No liability is accepted for delayed delivery due to the postal services.
The gift certificate only becomes valid when the amount of payment due has been received in full.
All gift certificates are valid for 1 year and must be redeemed during this time period.
In all of our listed prices, Value Added Tax is not included since the gift certificate represents a 100% notification of credit. Only the actual invoicing at the hotel will take into account value added tax.

Gift certificates can only be obtained through use of the regular postal system or as .pdf via e-mail. Enclosed with the gift certificate will be a payment slip for payment of the amount of the gift certificate ordered.

Postage is free of charge!

Gift certificates which do not meet your expectations must be returned to us in the original packaging within 14 days. It suffices if the revocation notification is sent to us within the deadline. There is no requirement to provide reasons. The revocation right does not exist, however, if provision of services has already commenced according to the agreement within the revocation period. This revocation right applies to customers who are regarded as “Consumers” according to the Consumer Protection Act.
