Inge and Heinz Schütter took over the reins of Hotel Schröckerhof from grandmother Hilda back in 1994, since when they have run it with boundless love and passion. Their son, Simon, is already starting to walk in his parents' footsteps.

The history of the Schröckerhof

It was back in 1965 that grandmother Hilda and daughter Greiti began running the "Schröckerhof". The first small-scale remodeling project took place in 1990 before grandson Heinz and wife Inge took over in 1994.

Inge Schütter, who actually began her career in the cosmetics industry, and husband Heinz have been dedicated to the hotel and the comfort of their guests ever since.

The young entrepreneurs carried out the first major renovation in 1995, a year after taking over the “Pension Schröckerhof”.

In 2001, investments were made primarily for the smaller guests; a show stable/experience stable was created.

Since sheep also have a home on their parents' farm, Heinz and Inge, together with his brother Reinhard, built the popular “Schafalm” on the Planai in 2003.

With the addition in 2012, the hotel not only gets its feel-good rooms; The former mountain farm has also become a stylish 4-star hotel.

In 2019, the rooms “Tauern”, “Planai” and “Fastenberg” in the main building will be renovated.

In early summer 2022, the hotel's natural swimming pond will be renovated and enlarged.
