Ski test & Ski Instructor

You want to buy a pair of new skis, but test them thoroughly beforehand and if possible a few others, so that you can decide on your definitive favorite ski? Just in time for the start of the ski season or as a Christmas wish under the Christmas tree with new boards to make the most beautiful turns on the 4-Mountain Ski Area Schladming in the snow?

If you do not know yet which skis it should be, or even if you just want to test the skis - if you want to have advice from the professionals (state-certified ski instructors or with a little luck the ex-ski racer Michael Tritscher ;-) during the ski test, we have the ideal offer ready for you!

By the way: the ski run is possible all the way down to the hotel, the Fastenberg 6-seater chairlift is only a 5 minute walk away.

• prices are given per person and stay, and depend on the respective room category

• with only 2 adults in the Family Suite "Planai", there are additional costs of € 10 per person / night, in the Family Suite "Fastenberg", there are axtra costs of € 13 per person/night

• check-in is possible until 6.30 p.m. - if this is not possible for you, please let us know

The following relaxed cancellation conditions apply:

• up to 14 days before arrival a rebooking / cancellation free of charge is possible
• for cancellation 13 - 7 days before arrival we charge 70% and
• in case of cancellation from 6 days before arrival and in case of no-show 90% of the total price will be charged

Look forward to magical, carefree days of skiing in the middle of the ski region of Schladming-Dachstein. The marvellous pistes and deep-snow hills of the 4-Mountain Ski Area, including the Planai and Hochwurzen, are renowned far beyond our borders. The Hotel Schröckerhof is situated 4 kilometers above Schladming at 1,100 m above sea level. Ski in / Ski out: Your accommodation is just a ski trail or a 5-minute walk from the Fastenberg 6-seater chairlift, which runs up the Planai. The ski run is possible all the way back down to our hotel.

• Ski Ticket: from 2 days up, you can buy your ski ticket directly in the hotel
• Ski Service: the skis get picked up Mondays at 4:30 p.m. by Sport Tritscher, and are returned the next morning at 8:30 a.m. (against fee)
• Ski Rent: it is best to pre-reserve/book equipment online with 10% online discount. It is necessary to specify Hotel Schröckerhof as accommodation, and in addition please let us know if or when you would like a shuttle, so that we can forward the info to Sport Tritscher (reserve transfer at 8:30 a.m. the evening before by 6 p.m. at the latest; reserve transfer at 4:30 p.m. the same day by 3 p.m. at the latest)
