A real insider tip is the Kristall Trail in Schladming Untertal, awarded the Styrian Cross-Country Ski Trail Seal of Quality (first access point about 6 km from the hotel). Using a classic, leisurely technique, the route takes you across wide meadows and the Tetter Moor, past rustic huts, and through enchanting snow-covered forests - always accompanied by the crystal-clear waters of the Untertalbach.
Also on the Tettermoor Skating Trail as well as the Almenrunde Skating Trail – ideal for beginning “skaters” – you can enjoy nature and a completely carefree cross-country skiing experience. The magnificent views of the Klafferkessel and the cascading, frozen waterfalls along the Untertal valley floor make this experience truly spectacular.
